- The article deals with the problem of humanization of higher education. It is about the importance of social, motivational and emotional intelligences of students in higher education as important components of their training. Different approaches to understanding intelligence are considered, and a sketch of the relationship between social needs, personal motives, and psychological culture of personality is also provided. In the conclusion section, the need for professional psychological competences of future specialists is outlined. The lack of such competences increases the need for practical teaching of psychological disciplines at universities. (original abstract)
