Abstrakt
Globalization is a phenomenon that has driven organizations to implement innovation in their processes. The enterprise should be prepared to accommodate all economic activities that plays and upgraded to satisfy an ever more demanding market. This article shows preliminary results of a research carried out in the fishing cooperative that since its origin has been integrated by several local families and to date stay because the union represents an option to develop a way organized, their main activity is fishing. The research was conducted under a qualitative approach and data was collected using observation, interviews and analysis of internal documents of the cooperative. The results show that 80% of union members maintain a family relationship line and integrated in order to make the production process of shrimp catch in an organized manner and implemented innovation, like the change in the production process, the use of equipment and technological tools. It is recognized that the presence of members in a family relationship inside the fishing cooperative helps to create ties of identity and wishes of permanence in the organization but in the cooperative innovation is slow because to limited resources and adverse conditions in which the organization operates.
