- The sector of woodprocessing industry is extremly miltifunctional and grants a wide scale of materials and products. It provides economic, environmental and social benefit based on utilization of renewable resources. Wooden products are recyclable, biodegradable and they can substitute materials from non renewable resources. The paper shows results in analyses of position of woodprocessing industry, SWOT analysis within Slovakia and European Union, competitive factors, main opportunities, threats and possibilities for its next development(original abstract)
