- On the basis of market place relationships, value analysis of different quality classes of sawn timber was carried out as well as of the semi-finished products obtained from it. Taking into account technological as well as production cost indices, the effectiveness and profitability of the secondary sawn timber conversion into semi-finished articles were determined. These correlations were expressed using a mathematical algorithm which was then employed to elaborate a computer program to determine technological-economical indices of the semi-finished products(original abstract)
