Abstrakt
Celem artykułu jest określenie roli systemów europejskich giełd transportowych podczas organizacji transportu drogowego rzeczy w międzynarodowych przedsiębiorstwach sektora produkcyjno-handlowego. W niniejszej pracy przedstawiono porównanie konkurentów Systemu Trans.eu - dwóch europejskich liderów: giełdę transportową Timo-Com oraz Teleroute. Przedmiotowe zestawienie zawiera informacje o funkcjonalnościach wymienionych platform, opis rozwiązań i różnic technologicznych, jak również wskazanie, w jakich częściach Europy posiadają przewagę konkurencyjną. Z badań przeprowadzonych wśród firm branży produkcyjno-handlowej wynika, że przedsiębiorcy najczęściej korzystają z Systemu Trans.eu, dzięki któremu mają możliwość zawierania transakcji, korzystania z biznesowego komunikatora, posiadają wgląd do dokumentów podwykonawców oraz, dzięki integracji systemów telematycznych, mogą monitorować przebieg trasy przesyłki(abstrakt oryginalny)

This article aims to identify the role of systems of European freight exchanges in the functioning of road transport in the production and shipping sector. The thesis presents a comparison of competitors of Trans.eu system - two European leaders: Freight Exchange Timo-Com and Exchange Teleroute. The compilation of the results shows the functionality of individual systems, description of solutions and technological differences and presents in what parts of Europe they have a competitive advantage. From the research conducted among manufacturing and shipping companies it comes up that traders usually choose Trans.eu system, where there is an opportunity to conclude transactions, use business messenger, have insight into the subcontractors document and tracking the freight by integrating telematics transport companies with Trans.eu system(original abstract)
