Abstrakt
Celem artykułu jest określenie problemów związanych z rozwojem rolnictwa organicznego na Ukrainie. Podsumowano istniejące podejścia rolników do zrozumienia istoty rolnictwa organicznego i jego zalet w porównaniu z tradycyjnym rolnictwem. Przeanalizowano aktualny stan branży, ujawniono główne tendencje rozwojowe Ukrainy na tle trendów światowych. Scharakteryzowano czynniki wpływające na ukraiński eksport organicznych produktów rolnych i ich rynek wewnętrzny. Uzasadniono perspektywy rozwoju rolnictwa organicznego na Ukrainie i sposoby ich osiągnięcia. Szczególną uwagę zwrócono na potrzeby regulacji wspierania roli państwa, przede wszystkim w okresie konwersji, a także na potrzebę informowania społeczeństwa i producentów produktów organicznych o ich korzyściach i przewagach w produkcji.(abstrakt oryginalny)

The purpose of the article is to identify the main problems related to the development of organic farming in Ukraine. In the course of the research, the existing approaches to understanding the essence of organic agriculture, its advantages over traditional production as well as the current state of the industry are analyzed. The main tendencies of organic agriculture development in the country are revealed against the backdrop of global trends, the peculiarities of the formation of Ukrainian organic agricultural products' export and its domestic market are studied. The main factors affecting them are grounded and the prospects for the development of organic agriculture in the Ukraine and ways of achieving it are substantiated. Particular attention is paid to the necessity of the regulatory and supportive role of the government, especially in the conversion period. Also, the need for a wider understanding of organic products, its usefulness and benefits in production, by the population and producers, are addressed.(original abstract)
