- Celem opracowania jest identyfikacja informacyjnych możliwości sprostania przez polską statystykę publiczną nie tylko wymogom oceny efektów realizacji unijnej polityki, ale i identyfikacji i pomiarowi zmian w różnych segmentach społecznej, gospodarczej i środowiskowej rzeczywistości krajów Unii Europejskiej, czemu służą zbiory dziedzinowych wskaźników zrównoważonego rozwoju podjęto w niniejszym opracowaniu. Przedstawiono także miejsce Polski na tle krajów UE pod względem poziomu zebranych w dziesięć grup tematycznych unijnych wskaźników zrównoważonego rozwoju. (fragment tekstu)
The article presents an attempt to assess the implementation of the European Union requirements related to the provision of statistical data for international comparisons by Polish public statistics, for which sets of thematic indicators, including sustainable development ones, are used. The European Union countries, including Poland, have to assess the level of informational and methodological compatibility in this area. Polish position, at the background of other EU countries, was presented with reference to the level of sustainable development indicators, divided into ten thematic groups.
