Abstrakt
The purpose of this study is to investigate the concept of psychological well-being as a crucial factor in determining an individual's readiness for organizational change. This selection is based on the importance of psychological well-being in the realm of personal resources within contemporary human resource management theory and practice. It is widely acknowledged as a universal standard for a person's positive socialization. This article examines the psychological well-being of employees at universitiesin Eastern Eu-rope during the worldwide pandemic period and how it relates to their readiness for or-ganizational change. The research utilizes the "Ready for Organizational Changes" ap-proach and the Psychological Well-Being Scale to gather data. The results indicate that most respondents are aware of the changes being proposed, specifically the implementa-tion of remote education. Additionally, the willingness of employees to support leader-ship in implementing changes and the willingness to implement innovations themselves are linked to their psychological well-being. The findings suggest that the level of psycho-logical well-being of employees can predict their readiness for organizational changes, including the introduction of innovations. Overall, the studyhighlights the importance of considering the psychological well-being of employees from tertiary education insti-tutions. By doing so, the success of these changes can be improved, as well-being has been linked to a greater willingness to embrace change and implement new ideas.(original abstract)
