- Abstrakt
- Autor przeprowadził analizę ewolucji systemu finansowego w okresie transformacji gospodarki polskiej. Dokonał także porównań do przemian faz rozwoju systemu finansowego typu anglosaskiego i niemiecko-japońskiego.
In the process of development of the Polish economy, effectiveness and structure of the financial system are playing the main role. At present it is based on the deposit banks. At the same time it shows a slow tendency to be turned into the system oriented towards a capital market mainly through privatisation processes where the Mass Privatisation Programme and National Investment Funds seem to play a significant role. Those processes create new segments of the financial market, and also new possibilities of acting for financial institutions. In the next years the reform of pension system will have a significant influence on further development of the financial system. New organizational, legal and institutional frames will be created for pension funds and insurance companies to operate. The reform of the social security system will result in restoring the balance of public finances, which will contribute to a decrease in real and nominal interest rates. It will create conditions for collecting capital and allocating it using debt financial instruments. The tempo and character of changes of the Polish financial system show the features of both Anglo-Saxon and German-Japanese option of the financial system evolution.
