- Abstrakt
- Przedmiotem artykułu jest oferta usług świadczonych przez banki komercyjne. Autor omówił uwarunkowania konkurencyjne na polskim rynku bankowym, wykorzystanie systemów informatycznych w bankach polskich, w tym procedury bankomatowe i wybrane wyższe formy usług bankowości elektronicznej.
The Polish banking system has undergone and is still undergoing deep transformation processes and, as the American specialists claim, the achieved progress is already clearly visible. But it is still indispensable to make a great effort in order to equip banks with working and compatible information systems which make it possible to conduct reckoning in the real time. It also applies to the unified and competitive procedures of the Automatic Teller Machines which would cash the payment orders in the safe way in the on - line mode. There still exists a barrier especially in the sphere of the computer science technology which makes it difficult to cope with the challenge from the competitive western banking systems. The world revolution in the scope of automation and audiotechnology force Polish commercial banks to widen their range of services especially in the field of round the clock services, home banking, account manager, investments adviser and the like.
