- Omówiono przyszłość turystyki i jej związki z transportem, przyszłość transportu samochodowego oraz rolę transportu samochodowego w usługach turystycznych.
The XXth century is the century of rapid development both of motor transport and tourism. The development of tourism influences the development of motor transport and changes it in a positive way. Personal incomes tend to be higher and the leisure time tends to be longer, so probably people will travel more in the foreseeable future. It will reasult in constant rapid development of tourism in the XXIst century. The motor transport will still play a significant role in tourism services in spite of limits concerning its development. The motor transport will become safer and more friendly to environment as a result of progress in the field of engineering. Otherwise, the following advantages of automobiles as: the possibility of choice of the place of destination, routes, stages and comfortable modern coaches will influence the development of tourism. The motor transport will be the most important in local and inland tourism (where distances are rather short) as compared with railroad transport and aerial transport as a result of economical calculation.(original abstract) - Dostępne w
