- Celem artykułu jest próba zaprezentowania najważniejszych odkryć teorii chaosu.
The chaos theory is one of the youngest and far from being formalised branch of mathematics. Nevertheless, it has found numerous applications in different fields of knowledge. What are the reasons of this interest? It seems that they are the four statements: a) very complicated random behaviour which can occur in a simple deterministic but non-linear differential equations; b) sensitive dependence on initial conditions; c) aperiodicity - the same state of the system is never repeated twice; d) new idea of equilibrium: transition from one fixed point or cycle to strange atractor. The main goal of these articles was to collect these of the discoveries of deterministic chaos theory that are very important, especially from economists' poit of view.(original abstract) - Dostępne w
