- W artyklule zaprezentowano istotę terminu historiozofii oraz jej różne interpretacje. Szczególną uwagę poświęcono Burckhardtowskim rozważaniom na temat historiozofii oraz analizie jednego z podstawowych jej motywów - idei kryzysu dziejowego, a tym samym wskazanie znaczenia refleksji Burckhardta dla myśli późniejszej.
The study is a reconstruction of the conception of crisis formulated in the 19th century by a German historian, Jacob Burckhardt. The following problems were discussed: 1. Burckhardt's particular understanding of philosophy of history and its anti-Hegelian reference; 2. the main stages of Burckhardt's conception of crisis: the features of crisis, its sources and types; 3.
